Jacqueline Mittelstadt, owner and founder of the Tahoe Law Center, became an attorney because she wanted to help people. “As a prosecutor, I felt that I could ‘make a difference’ in the community. After a number of years working as a prosecutor, I became in-house counsel to the City of San Diego City Council, City Manager and staff as an attorney for the City of San Diego. Throughout that experience, I sought to reduce liability exposure and to ensure responsible use of tax dollars by structuring good business deals for the City. After more than a decade, in order to have a more well-rounded experience, I transitioned to the private sector to represent both government agencies as well as private entities and individuals."
